Trusted by Educators and Therapists

“Ginger the Frog provides a clear, practical framework for teaching emotional resilience in early years settings. The combination of stories, songs, and structured lesson plans makes the strategies easy for children to understand and use. After participating in the program children settled more quickly, used the “Ginger”vocabulary and engaged in the techniques of their own accord. Classes actively requested to watch the episodes again and again and repeat the somatic techniques.

It’s rare to find a program that is both this engaging for children and this straightforward for educators to implement. A genuinely valuable resource for early years classrooms.

Ginger provides a structured pathway for building emotional wellbeing in busy early years and classroom settings.

What Makes Ginger Different

Unlike many social–emotional approaches that focus primarily on discussion and behaviour guidance, Ginger integrates story-led learning, body-based regulation, guided creative visualisations, and emotional awareness practices to help children recognise their feelings and respond more calmly and confidently.

Central to the Ginger approach is story-led learning. Children follow Ginger as a relatable character who experiences the same worries, frustrations and emotional challenges they do. By observing Ginger navigate these moments, children naturally develop empathy and a deeper understanding of their own internal experiences.

This emotional connection supports engagement, reflection, and the practical application of self-regulation skills in everyday classroom situations.

Children are supported to build:

 – calm body awareness

 – emotional confidence

 – empathy and social understanding

 – intrinsic motivation

 – confident help-seeking

The program intentionally avoids reward-driven compliance models and instead nurtures curiosity, felt safety, and genuine emotional growth.

Ginger the Frog Emotional Resilience Program is comprised of:

Nine individual stories, each of nine minutes duration.

These stories are presented in an interactive, partly animated, digital storybook

An album of songs & affirmations

The album is made up of a variety of original songs from genres including surf-rock, hip-hop, dub reggae, folk and 70’s disco.
